Bloodstained Ritual of the Night Gets Funded in Less than a Day

On May 11, former Konami employee Koji Igarashi put up a Kickstarter page with a video for a game he plans on making. This game titled Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is a spiritual successor to the Castlevania series. Koji Igarashi is the assistant creator of the aforementioned series and left Konami back in 2014 to form his own company. Within a few hours of the kickstarter being put up it surpassed its initial goal of $500,000. This was incredible. I have never seen a game get funded so quickly and the game quickly rose to over a million in a day. The game will also have Michiru Yamane (Castlevania/ Skullgirls), Ippo Yamada (Mega Man), Fangamer (Merchandiser), and many more. The game is planned to be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. At the time of this publication the game has been funded a little over $1,957,000.
